Suburban 233514 Magnesium Anode Rod — RV Water Heater, 9" x 3/4" NPT

Sacrificial magnesium anode rod that screws into the drain port of a Suburban RV water heater to protect the tank from corrosion. The 9" rod corrodes in place of the tank, so it replaces the 3/4 inch pipe thread drain plug. The stainless steel core absorbs corrosive action to extend tank life, and magnesium suits soft or high-pH water.
